Your 12-Month Treatment Journey

We treat obesity as a complex, chronic medical condition — not a short-term issue requiring a quick fix. Sustainable results require structured, personalised, and ongoing medical care.

Assessment

Your journey begins with a comprehensive assessment to determine your health and needs. This includes a review of the many factors influencing your weight and wellbeing. We develop an individualised treatment plan tailored to you. Your assessment includes:

  • Body composition analysis using advanced bioimpedance technology to accurately assess fat mass, lean mass and muscle mass.

  • Comprehensive cardiometabolic and hormonal screening.

  • Screening for mental wellbeing, appetite regulation, food noise and cravings.

Tests

We may advise several additional tests to gain a complete picture of your health. These can be arranged from our clinic and may include:

  • Screening for fatty liver disease, low bone density and sleep apnoea.

  • Calorimetry to assess metabolic rate and flexibility.

  • Pharmacogenomic testing to ensure treatment for a wide range of health conditions matches your genetic profile.

Follow-up appointments at one month and then every three months enable us to monitor your progress, optimise treatment, and address challenges early, supporting safe, sustainable change.

Your Treatment

We provide clear, evidence-based recommendations tailored to your preference and health needs. This may include:

  • Support for behaviour change

  • TGA-approved pharmacotherapy for weight loss*

  • Advice on metabolic-bariatric surgery

  • Correction of nutritional deficiencies (e.g., iron) and hormonal conditions (e.g., menopause and low testosterone)

  • Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes and cardiovascular disease)

Ongoing support

You will be supported throughout your treatment with regular follow-up appointments in person or via Telehealth** (video or phone) for your convenience.

We co-ordinate your care with our dietitians, exercise physiologists and psychologists to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to give you the best support to achieve your health goals.

Our medical practitioners use digital technologies^ to summarise consultations, provide clear information about your care to keep you informed, and provide electronic prescriptions and forms where appropriate.
